Deer testicles, preserved in a glass jar. Each wet specimen is fixed in formalin, then transferred to 70% isopropyl alcohol for long-term storage.

Care instructions

• Keep the jar sealed. Opening the lid exposes the specimen to air, which can cause clouding or evaporation.
• Keep it out of direct sunlight. UV light discolors both the specimen and the fluid.
• Store at room temperature. Temperature extremes damage the fluid and the specimen.
• Top up with 70% isopropyl alcohol as the level drops.
• Do not shake or tilt the jar, which can cause floating or spillage.

Shipping note: wet specimens ship without alcohol due to shipping regulations. When yours arrives, place the specimen back in the jar and refill with 70% isopropyl alcohol.
